At Fasty, sustainability and environmental care are high on the agenda. Our sustainability efforts focus on long-term thinking through innovative product development, as well as integrating environmental and sustainability considerations into our daily operations. Every employee is expected to take personal responsibility for health and the environment. This involves not only adhering to instructions and routines but also being vigilant and promptly reporting any potential risks to a healthy workplace and the environment. We have developed a clear and structured plan for both corrective actions and continuous improvements.

A sustainable value chain
We work towards sustainable industrialization by implementing energy-efficient and environmentally friendly production methods, using renewable energy, and continuously developing our processes, such as manufacturing straps from recycled materials. In addition, we invest heavily in innovation to develop more functional and durable straps, as well as improved production methods that extend the lifespan of our products. We also strive to create an efficient and sustainable supply chain that minimizes transportation distances and energy consumption.
75% of our suppliers are Swedish companies, and furthermore, 30% of our suppliers are located within a radius of 40 kilometers from our base in Anderstorp.

Goal 8 focuses on promoting sustainable development and creating a better future for all. At Fasty, we contribute to this by creating more job opportunities with competitive wages, improving working conditions, and ensuring equal rights for all. Through our efforts, we strive to ensure that economic growth is both sustainable and inclusive for all groups in society.
At Fasty AB, we run a business that does not pose significant environmental risks. Our goal is to comfortably meet the applicable regulations and standards. It is important to us that our employees enjoy their work and have the opportunity to develop in it, as well as work in a pleasant environment. An open attitude and discussions with all employees are crucial for us to provide everyone with the opportunity to grow professionally.
Ecological sustainability
Fasty has initiated a project to analyze our products throughout their entire lifecycle (LCA) in order to minimize environmental and climate impact, without compromising our core principles of safety and quality.
The purpose is to identify which areas that contribute the most to environmental impact and thereby work to continuously reduce these. We have reviewed everything from raw materials, surface treatments, and transportation to more detailed aspects such as water and energy consumption. We will clearly communicate the carbon footprint of our products to our customers, including on our forms.
Social sustainability
We constantly strive to create a strong corporate culture including and fair business, where every employee feels valued and respected. We believe in freedom with responsibility and strive to create a work environment that promotes diversity, equality, and well-being. By investing in the development of our employees, including offering wellness benefits and fun activities outside of working hours, we aim to foster a positive and supportive workplace and we work continuously to foster a positive corporate culture.
We strongly believe in the power of sports and the value of being part of a group, where individuals can develop and learn from each other. We support several local sports clubs in the region, which is a significant part of our efforts to show that sports promote physical activity, as well as personal and social development. Through our support, we aim to highlight how sports can help create unity and provide people with the opportunity to grow and be inspired together.
